Backstreet Boys Premiere “Permanent Stain,” Announce New Album & Tour

Backstreet Boys In A World Like This Tour

Though they have been forming together again for the past three years or so, the Backstreet Boys are following boy band acts such as New Kids on the Block and 98 Degrees , announcing a new studio album and tour for this year.

Entitled In A World Like Thi s, fans in the US can expect the album to be officially released on July 30, 2013, with a tour kicking off three days later in Chicago.

The pop group appeared on Good Morning America this week, where they premiered a new song called “Permanent Stain,” and the album’s official first single is set to be released on June 25, 2013.

The album and tour announcement comes on the heels of the band’s 20th anniversary in April, in which they were awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In A World , the band’s eighth studio album, was recorded in London and Los Angeles and will feature production from producers such as Max Martin , Martin Terefe and Justin Trugman .

It also serves as the official return of band member Kevin Richardson , who departed from the group in 2005 to focus on his family and pursue other interests.

Tickets for their upcoming tour will go on sale this Friday May 17th. Those who purchase tickets will be given “Permanent Stain” as a free download. Take a look at the tour dates below:
