Justin Timberlake’s ’20/20 Experience Part 2′ Official Album Cover
Shortly after the release of Justin Timberlake ‘s comeback album, ?uestlove sent the media and fans into a frenzy when he stated that her second part to the record would be released later on this year.
Well people, the great Justin is gearing up for that release , which is entitled The 20/20 Experience: 2 of 2 . The album serves as the official follow-up (or should I say sequel?) to March’s 20/20 Experience , which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with sales of 968,000 in its first week.
Set to be released on September 30 through RCA Records, the album will feature a total of 11 songs from the first album’s outtakes as well as new material from recent studio sessions with Timbaland, Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon , and James Fauntleroy – just to name a few.
2 of 2 was made available for pre-order on the iTunes Store on July 12, 2013, and will also be repackaged with the first 20/20 album as a compilation entitled The 20/20 Experience: The Complete Experience .
The album is currently preceded by its lead single “Take Back the Night,” which was released on July 12, 2013 and was written by Justin alongside Timbaland, Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon and James Fauntleroy.
Though the song has received some controversy for sharing the name of an anti-rape organization, it has garnered mixed to positive reviews form critics and has so far reached #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Take a look at the official tracklisting below:
