After three days of non-stop play I can officially admit that I’m obsessed with Lloyd‘s “All I Need,” a brand new collaboration with Atlanta producer Slade Da Monster.

Appearing on Slade’s new mixtape, Hotter Than July 19, the menacing, yet sensual tune marks the New Orleans crooner’s return from an extended hiatus.

“I wanna take you out, freak ya out, bust my gun and take the charge,” he sings. “Long as you say my name, every time I break ya off, girl I’ll give ya what ya want…”

Fans may recall that some of the lyrics were originally on Lloyd’s 2009 leaked track, This Love.”

Hotter Than July 19 also features the singer on a song titled On Call,” featuring Mississippi rapper Big K.R.I.T.

Lloyd’s last project, a mixtape titled The Playboy Diaries, Vol. 1, released in 2012. It featured Roscoe Dash, Lil Wayne, Trae Tha Truth, August Alsina, CyHi The Prynce and Wale.

The singer had previously released four studio albums Southside (2004), Street Love (2007), Lessons in Love (2008), King of Hearts (2011).

Hopefully, “All I Need” is a sign of a lot more to come from Lloyd.
