Lady Antebellum’s ‘Golden’ Becomes Third #1

Country trio Lady Antebellum has earned their third #1 album on the Billboard 200 Albums chart with their fourth studio effort Golden , selling a total of 167,000 copies.

The band can likely thank Mother’s Day gift shopping for the sales bump, which pushed album sales past its original forecast of around 150,000 copies.

Golden follows Lady Antebellum ‘s previous #’1′s Own the Night (2011) and Need You Now (2010).

Their first album, the self-titled album released in 2008, debuted and peaked at #4. Own the Night serves as their second biggest sales week with 347,000, while Need You Now launched with 480,000.

Now 46 debuts at #3 with 91,000, Michael Buble ‘s To Be Loved is #4 with 84,000, and Pistol Annies ‘ Annie Up enter at #5 with 83,000.

Justin Timberlake remains in the top 10 at #7 with The 20/20 Experience , which pushed another 66,000 copies this week.
