Canadian pop-rock band Marianas Trench and rapper Drake serve as the lead acts of the 2013 MuchMusic Video Awards , with six and five nominations respectively.
Also leading the pack and following Drake is Nova Scotia rapper Classified with four nominations.

All three acts are up against each other for Video of the Year , alongside Serena Ryder and The Weeknd ; and Your Fave Video , rounded out by Billy Talent and Hedley .
The show will be held on June 16th, in Toronto on a giant main stage in the MuchMusic headquarters’ parking lot and on the adjacent street’s smaller stage, surrounded by an estimated 10,000 fans.
