Cameron Diaz leads a group of vengeful friends in a very funny new romantic comedy titled The Other Woman , which also stars rapper Nicki Minaj , Leslie Mann ( 40-Year-Old Virgin / This Is 40 ), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau ( Oblivion ) and model Kate Upton .
The film centers on a woman (Cameron) who finds out her lover is quite the philanderer — balancing a wife (Leslie) and several side chicks (one of which is played by Kate). She teams up with wifey and jump-off #2 to ruin his life. I like it already!
The Nick Cassavetes -directed flick serves as Minaj’s first on-screen role (she voiced the character of Steffie in last year’s Ice Age: Continental Drift and starred in The Cleveland Show episode Menace II Secret Society ). She will play Cameron’s opinionated assistant and friend at a law firm, who has been married three times.
The Other Woman is produced by Julie Yorn ( Eve’s Bayou / Max Payne ) and written by Melissa Stack . Set to be distributed internationally by 20th Century Fox, the film will hit theaters April 25, 2014.
