CMJ Week starts out tonight with what may be the most anticipated event of the whole festival, Duck Down Vs Blacksmith (presented by Brooklyn Bodega, VTech, 2K Sports, XXL Mag & Rocksmith)

Performing live at Le Poisson Rouge will be indie hip-hop heavyweights Pharoahe Monch, Smif N Wessun, Pete Rock, Jean Grae, 9th Wonder & Buckshot, Black Rob, Sean Price feat. Heltah Skeltah, Skyzoo & !LLMIND, Team Facelift, Rustee Juxx, Promise, Torae, Strong Arm Steady , and special surprise guests.

DJ Evil Dee will be providing the soundtrack throughout the evening. Tickets are only $20 but the first 100 CMJ badges get in free.
