Miles Davis, Coltrane, Esperanza Spalding Illustrated for Spain’s The Poool Magazine

The Poool Magazine , a Spain-based annual publication, pays tribute to jazz greats — dead and alive, for its premiere issue.

ATIPO studio designers Raúl García Del Pomar and Ismael González use typography and illustration to honor late jazz music icons Charlie Parker, John Coltrane , and Miles Davis , as well as legends in the making Christian Scott and Esperanza Spalding .

“A celebration of new modern culture, warts and all,” The Pool is curated by Héctor Ayuso and published by OFFF , and debuted at OFFF Festival 2013 in Barcelona earlier this month.
