Miguel “How Many Drinks” x “Marvin Gaye Let’s Get It On” [DJ OHSO Mashup]
For the fourth week of her #MusicaNuevaThursdays installment, mashup queen DJ OHSO concocts a blend of sexual liberation with “ How Many Drinks? “ by Miguel , featuring Kendrick Lamar , and “ Let’s Get It On “ by late sex icon Marvin Gaye .

“How Many Drinks?,” which samples O’Donel Levy ‘s cover of The Carpenters ‘ “ We’ve Only Just Begun ,” peaked at #10 on the R&B Streaming Songs chart, where it is now #12 after appearing seven weeks ago.
The Salaam Remi -produced single is the third release from Miguel’s critically-acclaimed second studio album Kaleidoscope Dream , which peaked at #3 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, and has sold 321,400 copies since its September 2012 debut.
Released in 1973, “Let’s Get It On,” co-written with producer Ed Townsend , was Gaye’s most successful single for Motown and one of his most well-known songs. It appears on an album of the same name.
After debuting in June of that year, it went on to top the US Pop Singles chart for two weeks and topped US Black Singles for six weeks.
