Drake opens up with a brooding new song titled, “Can I,” featuring Beyoncé .

“[Can I] Get an honest sense about you right now / [Baby] ‘Cause all we ever talk about is me,” Drake says in a sing-songy rap over the minimalist track, which includes snippets of Bey singing “Can I…?,” “Baby?” and “Before I turn the lights out…”

He continues: “[Can I] Ever make you feel like I’m down for ya / [Baby] You do so much more than that for me / [Can I] Finally take the time and open up to ya / ‘Cause that’s the side you never get to see…”

“Can I” is expected to appear on the rapper’s upcoming fourth studio album Views From The 6 .

The two previously teamed up for “ Mine ,” from Beyoncé’s 2013 self-titled fifth studio album .

The futuristic R&B song peaked at #7 on UK R&B, #25 US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, #65 on UK Singles, and #82 on both the US Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Hot 100.

Ahead of Views ‘ release sometime this year, Drake took Beyoncé’s cue and dropped If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late without prior announcement on February 13, 2015.

The mixtape debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, Canadian Albums, and UK R&B Albums charts, selling 897,000 copies as of May 2015.

During its debut week, it was also streamed 17.3 million times on Spotify, breaking Drake’s own record that was made with Nothing Was the Same‍ .
