As if the new season of American Horror Story couldn’t make me more ready for its premiere date, the show has added White Collar star Matt Bomer to the cast. But sadly, the actor will only appear in one episode of the FX anthology.

Although details surrounding the Matt’s role are being kept under wraps, showrunner Ryan Murphy described the it as “warped.”

Returning on October 8the, “American Horror Story: Freak Show begins its tale in the quiet, sleepy hamlet of Jupiter, Florida. The year is 1952. A troupe of curiosities has just arrived to town, coinciding with the strange emergence of a dark entity that savagely threatens the lives of townsfolk and freaks alike. This is the story of the performers and their desperate journey of survival amidst the dying world of the American carny experience.”

Along with the upcoming sixth season of White Collar , Matt will appear in the sci-fi black comedy film Space Station 76 , as well as the upcoming computer-animated supernatural action comedy B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations .
