Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts” Music Video

The 2014 MTV VMAs are coming soon and the list of nominees have been announced via MTV’s official Snapchat account, with artists such as Austin Mahone, Fifth Harmony, Becky G sharing the list.

King Beyoncé leads the pack with a total of eight nominations, including a nod for Video of the Year for “Drunk In Love” with husband Jay-Z , as well as Best Female and Best Choreography for “Partition.”

Tying at second place are Eminem and newcomer Iggy Azalea with seven nominations each, while Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande and Sia earn three nominations each, which is enough to give them the third place title.

Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Zedd, Katy Perry, Jay-Z, Sam Smith, Jason Derulo and Hayley Williams come in fourth place with two nominations each.

The 31st Annual MTV Video Music Awards will be held at the Forum in Inglewood, California on August 24 and will air live on the East Coast.

The network has opened online fan voting at vma.mtv.com . Nominees for a new socially voted category, Best Lyric Video will be announced at a later date on the VMA site.

So far, Usher, Ariana Grande and 5 Seconds of Summer have been confirmed as performers , with additional artists being announced within the next few weeks. Take a look at the full list of nominees below:
