This Summer, Louis Vuitton launched its most significant global artistic collaboration to date with legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Pop-up stores in New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, and Selfridges in London incorporated the 83-year-old pop artist’s complex installations and usage of hallucination-induced polka dots.

Inspired by renowned Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, Louis Vuitton has launched its Louis Vuitton Kusama Studio iPhone App to accompany seven forthcoming pop-up stores worldwide. Add visual effects to your own pictures and share them in a public gallery included in the application, on Facebook and Twitter, and on the minisite specifically created for the application.

Louis Vuitton will soon open seven pop-up stores for the launch of its new collaborative collection with legendary Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. The spaces will incorporate the 83-year-old pop artist’s complex transporting museum installations, her use of hallucination-induced polka dots and her treasured pumpkin motif.
