Watch: Little League Star Mo’ne Davis Meets Maya Moore, Brittney Griner at WNBA Playoffs

Little League baseball sensation Mo’ne Davis met some of her favorite WNBA players just before the Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury faced off in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals.

On Sunday, Little League baseball sensation Mo’ne Davis got a chance to meet some of her favorite WNBA players just before the Minnesota Lynx and Phoenix Mercury faced off in Game 2 of the WNBA Finals.

She also dropped off some autographed copies of her Sports Illustrated issue for everyone on both teams.

Decked out in a Huskies sweatshirt and Maya Moore Lynx t-shirt, the 13-year-old was especially happy to meet the former UConn women’s basketball star, whose steps she plans to follow by playing basketball for UConn and professionally.

“I’ve been watching since she was playing for UConn and when she won the women’s championship,” she said of Maya who signed her Lynx t-shirt. Game 2 of the WNBA Finals ended with Maya’s Lynx beating Brittney Griner‘s Mercury 82-77. Tune in for Indiana Fever vs. Chicago Sky today, September 1st at 4:00 pm EST.
