Jhené Aiko is trying to keep it all together in her brand new video for “The Pressure“ directed by Childish Gambino and Calmatic.
As a mom, girlfriend and friend at home, and a singer in the spotlight, the rising R&B star depicts the struggle for life balance that many of us face.
“The Pressure” is Jhené’s latest single from her long-awaited Def Jam debut, Souled Out, which is set to be released on September 9th via No I.D.‘s ARTium/Def Jam.
The 16-track LP will feature appearances by Cocaine 80s (No I.D. and Jame Fauntleroy), Common, and Jhené 5-year-old daughter Namiko, with production by Key Wane, Fisticuffs, James Fauntleroy, and Dot Da Genius.
The album’s lead single is a Cocaine 80s-assisted “To Love and Die”.

Souled Out is preceded by two acclaimed EPs: 2011’s Sailing Soul(s) and 2013’s Sail Out, which debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200 chart and peaked at #2 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
