Two-time Olympic gold medalist Gabrielle Douglas has been honored with a wax statue of her likeness at Madame Tussauds in San Francisco.

The 18-year-old gymnast attended the June 9th unveiling of the sculpture, which took about four months for a team of sculptors, color artists, and hair artists to create from 250 measurements of Douglas, according to the museum.

“For me, it’s just an awe,” a stunned Douglas said. “Like, I never would have thought I would have a wax figure of myself. And it’s just, it’s amazing you know. I keep staring at it.”

Check out the fun photos from her visit below. Located at Fisherman’s Wharf (145 Jefferson Street), Madame Tussauds San Francisco will open to the public on June 26th.
