Adam Lambert April 2014

‘The Very Best of Adam Lambert’ Tracklisting Includes ‘Idol’ Performances & Covers

Adam Lambert April 2014

Adam Lambert may be working on a new album, but it will be months before we hear anything from it (or longer). Well, to keep fans occupied until something shake, it seems that Sony Legacy will be taking a page from Hollywood Records’ playbook.

The record company has announced plans to release a collection of the singer’s greatest hits entitled The Very Best of Adam Lambert, which is set to be released on May 27, 2014.

If you are wondering about the Hollywood Records thing, it’s because they did something similar with Hilary Duff, who then only had two albums released at the time in the course of her then three year music career.

While Hilary’s compilation album, Most Wanted, featured remixes of singles and a few fan favorites, as well as three new recordings, Adam’s compilation will include three of his American Idol performances, as well as covers of “Mad World” by Tears for Fears and “One” by U2.

Adam’s version of Lady Gaga‘s “Marry the Night” from his Glee appearance will also be featured on the album. Take a look at the tracklisting below:

1. Mad World (American Idol Performance)
2. One (American Idol Performance)
3. Tracks of My Tears (American Idol Performance)
4. Time For Miracles
5. For Your Entertainment
6. Whataya Want From Me
7. If I Had You (Radio Mix)
