Romeo Santos’ “Cancioncitas De Amor” Single Artwork

Romeo Santos has premiered Cancioncitas De Amor,” the third single from his forthcoming sophomore solo album Formula, Vol. 2.

The classic bachata tune finds Latin pop star giving up on love singing, “He perdido la esperanza / Aquí tiro la toalla / El romance y la pasión / No es para mí /Escales muchas montañas / Sin temor a una avalancha y me caí…”

The album’s lead single, Propuesta Indecente,” peaked at #1 on the US Latin chart, #1 on the US Tropical chart and #79 on Billboard Hot 100.

A second single, Odio,” featuring Drake soared from #39 to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart and set download and streaming records last week.

Selling 55,000 downloads in its first week, the song entered Latin Digital Songs at #1 and set the mark for the highest sales week for a Spanish-language track since the chart’s inception in January 2010. “Odio” is currently #45 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Due February 25th, Formula, Vol. 2 is the follow-up to 2011’s Formula, Vol. 1, which went 3× Platinum.

Four of Vol. 1‘s singles reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in the U.S and the album peaked at #9 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.

It went on to win three Latin Grammys in 2012: Album of the Year, Digital Album of the Year, and Tropical Album of the Year.

The new album will feature appearances by American rapper Nicki Minaj, King of Salsa Marc Anthony, guitarist Carlos Santana, Reggaeton artist Tego Calderón, and American comedian Kevin Hart.
