Watch: Yasiin Bey Teases ‘Live From Africa’

Rapper/actor Yasiin Bey (formerly Mos Def) gives us a preview of his latest project, Live From Africa .

Set to release January 17th, Muhammad Ali ‘s birthday, the project includes three new exclusive tracks. Check out the trailer below.

In other Yasiin news, he stars in a crime/comedy film titled Life of Crime , alongside Jennifer Aniston, Tim Robbins, Isla Fisher , and John Hawkes .

The film premiered at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival in September and will hit U.S. theaters December 31st.
