Gabby recently stopped by The Arsenio Hall Show and spoke on the movie:

“The movie, it deals with… I was homeless. We were living in a van, my family and I, and I had a blood disease when I was very young. And the gymnastic struggles as I had to move away when I was 14 years old to Westmoreland, Iowa to train with this very special coach, his name is Chow.”

Check out an official trailer below and tune into the premiere on Saturday, February 1st at 8pm ET/PT.

To celebrate the premiere of The Gabby Douglas Story , Lifetime launched a contest about a month ago, inviting schools across the country to take the Gabby Douglas Raise the Bar Pledge .

Schools were to enter for a chance to win $10,000 by encouraging their students to submit pledges to raise the bar in their own lives.
