Beyoncé’s Official Music Video for “XO”

Beyoncé combines “XO,” one of my favorite songs from her new self-titled album with one of my favorite places, Coney Island for an adorable new music video.

Directed by Terry Richardson, the heart-felt treat finds the singer with some fashion model friends (Jourdan Dunn and Jessica White) screaming on roller coasters, crashing bumper cars, and having a dance party with fans at the Brooklyn attraction.

Random couples kiss throughout the clip as she belts out, “You love me like X-O! / I love you like X-O!”

Filming for the video caused a bit of a frenzy this summer as people captured it with Vines and speculated what the accompanying song might be.

Serving as a dual lead single along with Drunk in Love,” “XO” was written and produced by The-Dream, Ryan Tedder, Hit-Boy and Queen Bey herself.

Both tracks appear on the singer’s industry-disrupting BEYONCE The Visual Album, a 14-track, 17-video project that dropped without warning last Friday.

“XO” was released to adult contemporary, urban, rhythmic, and contemporary hit radio stations in the U.S. on Monday.
