Watch: Beyoncé & Jay-Z Are “Drunk in Love” [FULL VIDEO]
Directed by Hype Williams, the black-and-white clip is the most intimate we’ve seen from the happily married power couple — a “Crazy in Love Part II,” if you will.
“I’ve been drinkin’, I’ve been drinkin’ / I get filthy when that liquor get into me” Bey admits. “I’ve been thinking, I’ve been thinking / Why can’t I keep my fingers off it, baby? / I want you, na na…”
Jay returns his wife’s sexual banter with “Foreplay in a foyer, fucked up my Warhol / Slid the panties right to the side / Ain’t got the time to take draws off / On sight / Catch a charge I might, beat the box up like Mike…”
“Drunk in Love” is one of several erotic odes to Jay-Z on BEYONCE The Visual Album, which blasted onto the internet early Friday morning and has so far reached over 828,000 copies sold via iTunes.
Produced by Timbaland, Jerome “J-Roc” Harmon, Noel “Detail” Fisher, Boots, Brian Soko and the artist herself, “Drunk in Love” serves as a lead single from BEYONCE, along with “XO.”
The song hit radio on December 17, 2013 and will only be released to Rhythmic and Urban radio stations in the U.S.
Expect more full video releases to emerge gradually from the 14-track, 17-video set, which features musical and visual collaborations with Pharrell Williams, Drake, Hype Williams, Sia Furler Frank Ocean Justin Timberlake, Miguel, Timbaland, Terry Richardson, daughter Blue Ivy, and more.
