Lady Gaga’s Official Album Cover for ‘ARTPOP’

Just a few days after unveiling the official cover art for her upcoming third studio album ARTPOP , singer-songwriter Lady Gaga has unveiled the official tracklisting and second single for the record.

She has also shared the lyric video for “Aura,” which serves as promotion for her upcoming first movie Machete Kills , which is set to be released in theaters tomorrow, October 11, 2013.

According to Billboard, “Aura” sounds a little like “Judas,” and after listening to the song I have to agree, just a little.

The beats are similar and Gaga sings in the same chant style during the verses, only to slightly raise them during the chorus.

Set to be released on October 27, 2013, “Venus ” has been announced as the official second single for the album.

The song title is being assumed to be a reference to “The Birth of Venus” a famous painting from the Italian artist Botticelli. Pieces of the painting is featured on the ARTPOP album cover.
