For her exciting return to day-time television , Queen Latifah brought on the talented young Willow Smith to perform her new song, “Summer Fling.”
During her performance the 12-year-old star, who seems to be a magnet for “controversy” briefly addressed critics who feel the song is inappropriate for her age stating, “Just for clarity, the word ‘fling’ means something that’s short-lived. And this song is dedicated to all the kids around the world whose summer is never long enough.”
