‘The Trials of Muhammad Ali’ Documentary to Hit Theaters Late Summer/Fall 2013
Following its premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, The Trials of Muhammad Ali has been picked up by Kino Lorber for North American distribution.
It is set to open in New York City on August 23rd at the IFC Center and will roll out to national theaters later in the summer/fall.
Directed by Bill Siegel and executive produced by Leon Gast for Kartemquin Films, the documentary on Muhammad Ali‘s biggest battle follows his refusal to serve in the Vietnam War and the legal challenges that caused, his relationship to the Nation of Islam, and his decision to change his name from Cassius Clay to Muhammad Ali.
