“Going crazy, the hitmen always find you / Do that dance, smoking in the girls room / Kiss in France, it’s over like a comic book exploding in a bathroom stall…”
The clip is actually an excerpt from a short film called The Dance Apocalyptic , written by Chuck Lightning , which is set in an alternate version of present-day America.
The upbeat track will appear on Janelle Monáe ‘s forthcoming sophomore album The Electric Lady , out September 10, and will also be featured in her CoverGirl commercials.
