Mariah Carey Titles New Album ‘The Art of Letting Go’

Okay, now we can officially celebrate Auntie Mariah ‘s new era of music. Today she revealed the official title of her first studio album in almost four years.

Set to be released on July 23, 2013, The Art of Letting Go will serve as the Grammy-winning powerhouse vocalist’s 14th studio album. Interestingly, last Wednesday, June 12, 2013, marked 23 years of her being in the industry.

The title of the album originally appeared as a pre-order on Walmart’s website and Jermaine Dupri later announced it on his blog.

The Art of Letting Go is preceded by the lead single “#Beautiful,” which features Miguel . So far it has managed to reach #15 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, after debuting strongly at #24.

Yesterday, pictures were released of Auntie Mimi and Miguel in Italy shooting another video and showing off their beach bodies.

However, it hasn’t been announced if it’s a video for a remix to “#Beautiful,” a new song that we can expect on her album, or a remix for one of Miguel’s songs. Whatever it is, it looks like it will be very tropical and well… beautiful.

Though there are currently details surrounding the album, Mariah has been in the studio with producers including J.D., Bryan-Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, Mike WiLL Made It , and Rodney Jerkins . Are you ready for this new era?
