The official Machete Kills trailer has been unleashed and it gives us a first glimpse at Mel Gibson, Lady Gaga, Charlie Sheen, Sofia Vergara , and Alexa Vega , who join Danny Trejo , Michelle Rodriguez , and Jessica Alba .
Directed by Robert Rodriguez and written by Álvaro Rodríguez and Kyle Ward , the action sequel picks up where “Machete Cortez” (Trejo) is recruited by the U.S. government “to battle his way through Mexico in order to take down an arms dealer who looks to launch a weapon into space.”
Machete vets Rodriguez, who played “Luz” in the first film, returns as “Shé,” while Alba resumes her role as “Sartana.”
The newbies: Charlie Sheen appears for the first time credited as his real name “ Carlos Estevez ” to play the President; Vergara is literally more fiery than ever as flaming-tit toting “Madame Desdemona,” Vanessa Hudgens plays “Cereza,” Spy Kids ‘ Alexa Vega is “KillJoy,” Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as “El Cameleón,” and Lady Gaga makes her film debut as “La Chameleón.”
