Boston-based DJ, producer, and songwriter Clinton Sparks is gearing fans up for the eventual release of his Def Jam debut Disco Ball & Chain, dropping a new single titled Gold Rush.”

Rappers 2 Chainz and Macklemore lend a couple verses to the cranked out track, with D.A. (of Chester French) supplying vocals for the chorus and bridge singing, “You want this money / Come take it from me / Won’t stop at nothin’ / You’re a gold, gold rush girl.”

If you skip over 2 Chainz’ unnecessary bars and only listen to Macklemore’s, “Gold Rush” is far more enjoyable. The song hit iTunes June 4, 2013.

In any case, it’s great to see Sparks emerging at the front of a new project, for which the Pitbull-assisted electro-dance single “Watch You” was released August, 15, 2012.
