Zoe Saldana Talks Aging, Heartbreak & Not Giving Up on Love in InStyle UK June 2013

Star Trek ‘s Zoe Saldana graces the June 2013 issue of InStyle UK , available now on newsstands.

Inside, she speaks on getting over heartbreak, not giving up on love, and getting older in Hollywood.

The 34-year-old beauty rocks elegant pastel Spring/Summer ensembles from Dior , Givenchy , Prada , Louis Vuitton , Christopher Kane , Rochas , and Miu Miu for her Damon Heath-photographed shoot, which she described as “easy, breezy, beautiful, artistic, the energy was very positive.”

On aging in Hollywood:

“I’ve been told by producers, ‘Well, you know we need to get on this because you’re not getting any younger…’ Women are reminded of their age all the time. It’s usually by a fricking fat, big-bellied old man with a comb-over and you look at him and you’re like, ‘Really? Give me a break. You just have more money and more power in this situation than I do, but not in my life.’”

On love:

“I believe in love because I had it for so long, so I know it’s possible. I’m not one of these people who’s going, “Oh, because I was with someone for so long I need to take a break.” What if love is just around the corner?”

On her type:

“A badass renegade! A pirate! A pirate who can cry. Oh my god!”
