Vogue, Wired, Glamour and GQ Getting New Online Video Shows
Vogue and Wired are taking cues from other Conde Nast Entertainment publications Glamour and GQ, launching new online video channels packed with original content this month.
Starting May 8th, Vogue’s lineup includes From the Vogue Closet, Elettra’s Goodness, a cooking show with model Elettra Wiedemann (like Life + Times‘ Well Dunn with Jourdan Dunn?), and Vintage Bowles, which follows Hamish Bowles, Vogue’s International Editor at Large on his hunts for vintage garments and accessories. Check out a teaser below.
On May 15th, Wired will premiere The Window, a behind-the-scenes look at industrial engineering, and Angry Nerd, where staffer Chris Baker sounds off about aggravating tech issues. Preview The Window below.
Glamour brings back three of its four previously launched shows: Elevator Makeover, Fashion Week Ride-Along, and Why Do Guys… with three new shows being added to the channel: Glamour Video Gift of the Week, Style to Kill, and a scripted show about online dating, Single Life.
GQ’s four original shows Fighting Weight, The Ten, Car Collectors, and Jogging With James will be joined by Casualties of the Gridiron, about the physical and mental effects football has on NFL players during and after their careers, GQ How To, and The GQ Trend Report.
Vanity Fair, Teen Vogue, Epicurious and Style.com will launch channels later this year.
The shows will continue to run on Youtube but Yahoo, AOL, Twitter, Dailymotion and Grab Media have signed on as syndication partners.
