‘Iron Man 3’ Makes Second-Biggest Debut Ever with $175 M

To almost no one’s surprise, Iron Man 3 has struck gold for Marvel Studios and Disney at the box office this weekend!

Called the most entertaining of any Marvel film by ShadowAndAct, the third installment of the superhero series brought in $175.3 million, making it the second-largest debut in the U.S. behind The Avengers.

This brings the Shane Black-directed feature’s total to $680.1 million following a $504.8 million international debut, which passes Iron Man 2‘s $312 million international total. See this weekend’s full box office below:
