The music gods of heaven have heard the prayers of myself and many other people about the group Danity Kane , which was formed by Sean “Diddy” Combs on MTV’s Making The Band in 2005.
Yesterday, TMZ got a video and short interview of four of the members: Shannon Bex, Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard , and Aubrey O’Day , while they were going out for lunch in LA.
D. Woods , who has seemed to distance herself from everyone since her demise, was not present.
When asked if a reunion was in the works, they avoided the question, but close sources informed the media giants that a reunion is definitely coming together, with talks of new management and as well as a tour and album.
Aubrey even took to her Instagram page, which I follow religiously and posted a picture of the four girls looking all gorgeous and such.
If this is indeed true, then I will need a first aid kit handy, because my heart will be damaged from all of the excitement and happiness that is Danity Kane.
I have been hoping for a reunion for years and if things don’t work out this time, it’ll be because they decided to end it collectively.
In case you are out of the loop about this dynamic group, they were formed on third season of the reality television series Making the Band, and released their self titled debut album in August 2006, which debuted at #1 with sales of 234,662 copies its first week.
In 2008, they released their second studio album, Welcome to the Dollhouse , which also managed to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart but this time with 236,000 copies. A year after the album’s release Diddy broke up the group by firing Aubrey O’Day and D. Woods.
