Chris Brown’s “They Down Know” video shoot with kids from the Crenshaw Colts Youth Football and Cheer

A short behind the scenes clip of Chris Brown ‘s forthcoming music video for “Don’t Think They Know” “They Don’t Know” has surfaced, showing the R&B singer surrounded by some hype L.A. locals.

The new single, which features never-before-heard vocals from the late Aaliyah , serves as the official follow-up to “Fine China.”

At the BET Awards 2013 press conference on Tuesday, Chris gave details about the video shoot: “I shot it in the ‘hood. I went to 60th Street and Cedar Block.”

“[I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from. I’m from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke—I remember when I was.”

As with “Fine China,” the new single will appear on Chris’ sixth studio album X , which is set to release on July 16th. See the preview below.

Other collaborations for X include Bellinger, Danja, Diplo, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Rihanna, Roccstar, Timbaland , and Wiz Khalifa .

As of May 15, 2013 after five weeks on the  chart, the lead single “Fine China” is slowly creeping up the charts, now peaking at #42 on the Billboard Hot 100 , #23 on Radio Songs , and #10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs .

And speaking of the BET Awards, Chris is unsurprisingly nominated for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist , competing against Bruno Mars, Miguel, Justin Timberlake , and Usher .
