Watch: Pharrell Williams Performs Daft Punk’s “Get Lucky” @ HTC One Launch in Brooklyn
Just hours after breaking the record for most-streamed song in Spotify‘s history, Pharrell Williams performed “Get Lucky,” his latest collaboration with French production duo Daft Punk, for the first time at the HTC One launch in Brooklyn on April 19th.
Part of his 16-song set, Pharrell couldn’t help but give fans a triple dose performance of the catchy, electro-disco tune, which released on April 15th.
The never-aging rapper/producer also appears in a 30-second commercial spot for the song, which aired during SNL.
“Get Lucky,” which also features Nile Rodgers, is the lead single for Daft Punk’s fourth studio album Random Access Memories, a retro-influenced release debuting on May 21st.
Pharrell also lends his talents to the album’s “Lose Yourself to Dance.” Additional collaborators include Giorgio Moroder, Paul Williams, and Todd Edwards.
