Ke$ha Speaks on New MTV Docu-Series + Listen to “Crazy Kids” ft will.i.am
Ke$ha talks about her new MTV Docu-Series, ‘My Crazy Beautiful Life,’ and gives remix of “Crazy Kids” featuring will.i.am
Last night, many fans got a chance to see Ke$ha behind the scenes of her Get Sleazy tour with the premiere of her docu-series Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life on MTV.
The series was filmed by her brother Lagan Sebert over the past two and a half years, and will also show her working on her second studio album Warrior, which was released in December 2012. Take a look at what Ke$ha had to say about the series below:
“It’s not glamorous at all, or scripted or anything. We captured onstage, offstage, backstage, and all the emotions that go with that, both in my private life and in my public life. The drama — there is a lot of drama.
“I’m very well-known around the world for being a wild party animal — you see that too, don’t get me wrong. But you also see me… reading the reviews and trying to make my show better, and rehearsing and going over the lights, and going over the choreography, and changing into costumes. I am so involved with every little thing I do. I think people are probably going to be surprised at how seriously I take everything I do.”
I tried to get off the phone with my brother Jason last night to watch it, but he was being a total scrub and refused to hang up, so I missed the show.
However, I will definitely tune in next week and I’ll share my thoughts on it via Twitter and Facebook.
In other Ke$ha news, the singer released a newer version of her official third single “Crazy Kids,” which features will.i.am, who co-wrote the song. Take a listen to it below:
