Watch: Justin Timberlake Retells Grandparents’ Love Story in Beautiful “Mirrors” Video

Justin Timberlake’s Official “Mirrors” Video

Hold on, let me wipe my tears! In this beautifully-directed, heartfelt tribute, Justin Timberlake gives us official visuals for his second single, “ Mirrors .”

Amazingly, I’ve been singing and dancing to this song for two weeks and never got as emotional as I am after watching the video, which released this week. Thanks, Justin.

Dedicated to his grandfather William , who passed away last year, and grandmother Sadie , the Floria Sigismondi -lensed clip takes us through the ups, downs, and endless love and memories of the couple over the years.

But don’t worry, Justin busts out some dance moves in fun-house mirrors during the breakdown portion of the extended pop/R&B ballad.

The singer describes the song as “a love song to someone that you feel like is, you know, sort of your other half.”

He goes on to say, “one of the most valuable things in a relationship is being able to constantly change and be individual, but look to the other side to the person that you’re with and and know that they’re changing as well individually, but somehow you two can mirror each other and be the other half of that world that you both create.”

Written and produced by Timbaland, Jerome Harmon, James Fauntleroy , and Justin himself, “Mirrors” appears on the crooner’s comeback album, The 20/20 Experience , which is buzzing with much-deserved rave reviews from fans and critics.

The album, which marks Justin’s return from six-year music hiatus, is projected to sell a record-breaking 750,000 copies in its debut week. Later this fall, expect 20/20 Experience part 2 . Enjoy the sentimental video for “Mirrors” below.
