Ariana Grande Premieres “The Way” with Mac Miller

Equipped with a surprisingly lush set of vocals, actress/singer Ariana Grande is more than the ditsy crimson-haired “Cat Valentine” from the Nickelodeon sitcom, Victorious .

If you have followed her career for the past couple years, you’ve been eagerly awaiting her latest single, “ The Way ,” featuring rapper Mac Miller .

The 19-year-old powerhouse debuted the adorable song a day early, March 25th, on On Air with Ryan Seacrest after teasing us with behind-the-scenes videos. The official video premiered late on March 27th.

Sounding like a 1990′s Mariah Carey and backed by a sample of Big Pun ‘s “ Still Not a Player ,” Ariana is completely smitten, singing “I love the way you make me feel…”

The song will appear on Ariana’s debut album, DayDreamin’ , which the singer says may feature more collaborations with Mac Miller: “ We’ve made a whole bunch of songs together and I think a couple of the other ones are going to be on the album as well.”

Both the new single and forthcoming album, which can be expected late summer 2013, are preceded by 2011′s “ Put Your Hearts Up .” Take a listen to “The Way” below and get it now on iTunes .
