R&B songstress Tweet releases third new song for #TweetTuesdays

It has been entirely too long since Tweet‘s sweet, calculated vocals graced my speakers, but thankfully the R&B songstress is making her comeback!

She recently launched #TweetTuesdays and today, dropped a third song via Twitter for fans to swoon over entitled, “C 4EVA.”

The somber track follows new songs “Trouble” and “Day Dreaming,” originally by Aretha Franklin.

The new music may seem way overdue for those of us who fell in love with Tweet in 2002 when she released her debut album Southern Hummingbird, which was full of unforgettable tracks, including sultry hits “Oops” featuring Missy Elliot and “Call Me.”

She released It’s Me Again in 2005 and in 2007, we expected Love, Tweet but it was cancelled due to album leaks and the singer largely disappeared.

The unfinished project will now be Simply Tweet, releasing sometime in 2012. In the meantime, have a listen and feel free to download all three #TweetTuesdays offerings below.
