The Wait Is Over: Rihanna Delivers Sexy “Where Have You Been” Video

Rihanna has finally released the video for her latest single “Where Have You Been,” my #1 favorite song from her sixth studio album Talk That Talk ( iTunes / Amazon ). The house/dance-pop song was written by Calvin Harris , Ester Dean, Geoff Mack and Lukasz Gottwald –with Dr. Luke , Cirkut , and Harris serving as the track’s producers.

Just as we expected from the behind the scenes footage and sneak peaks last week, the video is absolutely amazing! It can be listed as Rihanna ‘s best video since Talk That Talk’s first single, “We Found Love.”

Directed by Dave Meyers , the video features choreography by Hi-Hat , with Rihanna emerging from a marsh and dancing alongside male tribal dancers in a rock-filled desert landscape in front of a fire.

Not only is the video for “Where Have You Been” full of energy, it also manages to be sexy while still being quite simple in concept–and I think that’s what really makes me enjoy the video. She could have pulled a Gaga and had 2 minutes of extra footage or added a new dance break to the song, but she didn’t and for that, I am quite happy. Take a look at the video below!
