Acclaimed jazz pianist and producer Robert Glasper was joined by Grammy-nominated R&B artist Bilal for a live performance at New York Public Radio’s Greene Space. The two were accompanied by musicians Casey Benjamin, Derrick Hodge, and Mark Colenburg. They performed “All Matter,” which appears on Bilal‘s 2010 release Airtight’s Revenge.

Robert‘s latest album Black Radio, which effortlessly fuses jazz, hip-hop, adult contemporary R&B, neo-soul and even rock, released last week and currently sits at #4 on iTunes. The album features such esteemed talents as Erykah Badu, Lalah Hathaway, Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def (Yasiin Bey), Musiq Soulchild, Chrisette Michele and many more.

Black Radio combines new tracks with renditions of beloved classics such as Afro Blue,” most famously arranged by John Coltrane, Sade‘s “Cherish the Day” and Nirvana‘s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.”
