Travel Series Seeks To Bring Over 1500 Nomads To New York City For ‘Ultimate Meet Up’ Episode

The Nomadness Travel Tribe in Bocas Del Toro, Panama, 2012

A year ago, Evita Robinson ‘s Nomad•ness Travel Series was a reality show about one young Black woman exploring art, music, food, local pastimes, and causes around the world. It inspired us. It made us want to travel and some of us actually went through with it.

The excursionist inspiration turned into the Nomad•ness Travel Tribe —an invite only group which has grown to 1500 people, ranging from casual travelers to full on expats, living all over the world. In four months, the Tribe has held Meet Ups in New York, Dubai, Shanghai, Rio, Houston, D.C., Atlanta, London, Brussels, and South Africa.

These meet ups have been so essential to the series that the Ultimate International Meet Up episode will begin shooting on September 29, 2012 in New York City. In order to make this happen, $10,000.00 will go towards production costs for a film crew, venue costs for the event, goodie bags, and the One Year Anniversary Tribe Yearbook .
