Watch: Justin Timberlake, Drake Help Fight Child Slavery in ‘Real Men’ Campaign
Real men don’t buy girls.
Demi Moore and Asthon Kutcher are using their star power to bring awareness and the eventual end of child and sex slavery.
For their Real Men campaign, they’ve recruited fellow celebrities Eva Longoria, Bradley Cooper, Jason Mraz, Adrian Peterson, Justin Timberlake, Sean Penn, Isaiah Mustafa, Jamie Foxx, Drake, and the list appears to be growing.
They are also asking that we all get involved by uploading your own photo on Facebook to appear in one of the viral videos.
According to DNA, today more than 12 million people worldwide are enslaved. 2 million children are bought and sold in the global commercial sex trade.
In just the United States, between 100,000 and 300,000 children are enslaved and sold for sex.
The sex slavery industry has become an increasingly important revenue source for organized crime because each young girl can earn between $150,000 and $200,000 each year for her pimp.
These statistics are painful but the reality is, we live in a world and country where SLAVERY still exists. But this can change. Stand to end child and sex trafficking.
