Lil’ Wayne’s “6 foot, 7 foot” Video Sucks. Thank Hype Williams!
Recently, we voiced how disappointing Kanye West‘s “All of the Lights” video is. “6 foot, 7 foot,” which happens to also be directed by Hype Williams, seems to follow a trend of his… videos full of unrelated concepts and total disconnection throughout.
Apparently, Lil’ Wayne and Hype decided to do the lamest job possible in using the movie Inception as their inspiration for this video. Watch the video below.
If you’re going to do an Inception bit, at least have the dream-within-a-dream-within-a-dream concept fill out your entire video. Lil Wayne drops in slow-mo Dom Cobb-style into a bathtub to wake up, but the majority of the clip is just random scenes and imagery that appear to have no connection.”
Video girls, images of liquor, and multiple scenes with a pack of Negroes that aren’t even on the track — topped off with cheesy effects all in one video! At least we know it can’t get any worse right?
Sidenote: a redo featuring the remix by Vybz Kartel (who murders Lil’ Wayne‘s verses) would be awesome!
